Prototype III , Marc Leschelier, 2021

Piacé le radieux, Bézard - Le Corbusier Partnership: Salomon Advanced
Marc Leschelier is an architect and teacher at the École d'Architecture Paris-Malaquais. His work defends the possibility of a radically independent practice and insists on the importance of conceiving architecture in a space-time that is desynchronised from real contingencies. He has developed the notion of pre-architecture, which is an intermediate state where architecture is materially unfinished and a priori functionless, in order to explore new vocabularies and a specific architectural genre. Pre-architecture is also the moment when architecture is not yet a discipline but a constructive practice that puts into action a set of physical, plastic and territorial relationships.
