Kub d'Or

Description
Formerly the village butcher's shop, the Kub d'Or was acquired by the association in 2021. It owes its name to the artist François Curlet. The KUB d'OR obviously evokes the White Cube, the exhibition space par excellence for galleries and art centres. Here, however, White has become Gold, the colour of the road on which it is located: La Route d'Or (D338 former Calais-Bayonne road). L'Or is also the café opposite, now the Café du Fontenoyformerly known as La Boule d'Or. With a floor area of 100 m² and a garden, the Kub d'Or is a space for artistic experimentation and exchange. Its showcase offers an exhibition space visible from the main road, while its garden houses The orchard of the third paradisea participatory project to support local organic production led by artist Joël Auxenfans in partnership with Cittadellarte-Pistoletto Foundation. A Maroussia Rebecq/Andrea Crews couture boutique and workshop is also located in the outbuildings of the Kub d'Or.
